Associate Attorney - General Liability

Litigation Associate (General Liability) - Hybrid Our multi-disciplinary firm client is seeking an early-career litigation attorney to support a busy civil defense practice. This role offers hands‑on experience across all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial and appeal, with regular client interaction and courtroom exposure. What You’ll Do Review and manage new matters from inception Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders Handle discovery, including drafting, responses, and arguments Research legal issues and draft persuasive briefs and memoranda Prepare and argue motions, including dispositive filings Participate in pretrial conferences, hearings, trials, and appeals What We’re Looking For JD from an accredited law school with an active New Jersey license (New York admission a plus) 2–5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in general liability defense Exposure to areas such as motor vehicle defense, premises liability, construction accidents, UM/UIM, or product liability is a plus Trial or courtroom experience preferred Comfortable working with modern legal and document management tools Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Why This Role Competitive benefits including health coverage, retirement match, and paid time off Structured mentorship and professional development Supportive, team‑oriented culture with an emphasis on work‑life balance To apply, please send a current copy of your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io for consideration.
