About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate Admissions to lead and set the strategic direction for the full undergraduate admissions operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and enrolling each entering class, directing a large staff across various admissions functions, and managing the recruitment and visit budgets. This role is pivotal in ensuring the achievement of recruitment, admission, and enrollment goals, particularly in a challenging market. The Assistant Vice Provost will be expected to provide strong leadership, and personnel management, and to have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful enrollment strategies. Collaboration with academic deans, marketing, and financial aid offices is essential to align recruitment strategies with institutional goals. Applicants for the Assistant Vice Provost position must have a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience in undergraduate admissions, enrollment management, or a related higher education field, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. The role requires a deep understanding of enrollment management principles, higher education policies, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analytics, be proficient in enrollment management technologies, and have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment. Responsibilities include setting and executing recruitment and yield strategies, leading a multifunctional team, and representing the admissions office to institutional leadership and external partners. The position demands excellent communication, strategic planning, and the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse constituencies.
