Hybrid | Monday & Friday Remote | Tues–Thurs On-Site
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Start ASAP
Compensation: $60,000–$64,000

What You’ll Do
• Build and grow customer relationships across construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors
• Hunt for new business through networking, cold outreach, and referrals
• Provide technical expertise on steel grades, applications, and product solutions
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to close profitable deals
• Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Track market trends and competitor activity
• Deliver polished sales presentations, proposals, and reports
• Manage quotes, spot buys, vendor receiving, and occasional cash sales

What Makes You a Great Fit
• 2+ years of sales experience (steel, metals, or industrial products preferred)
• Strong understanding of steel products and applications
• Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue goals
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
• Ability to travel within your territory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation

Bonus Points For
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field
• Experience with structural steel, stainless, aluminum, or specialty metals
• Existing industry contacts or book of business
