Work Environment The physical therapist role is based onsite at our outpatient office in East Brunswick, where patients receive individualized care in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our clinic fosters a welcoming atmosphere, designed to enhance both patient and staff experience. We work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work schedule conducive to personal well-being and professional development. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from physical impairments, dysfunction, and disabilities. Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's specific treatment goals and health status. Provide hands-on therapy using advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance patient mobility. Monitor patient progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Educate patients on exercises, self-care techniques, and strategies for pain management to foster independence. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment sessions using EMR software, specifically WebPT, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for our patients. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Physical Therapist within our outpatient clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on providing holistic, individualized care that emphasizes non-surgical interventions. The goal is to enable patients to return to their daily activities safely and efficiently while improving their overall wellness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is highly preferred. Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, free from sanctions or board proceedings. Strong knowledge and application of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of physical therapy. Preferred Experience Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is strongly preferred. Familiarity with sports rehabilitation and post-operative care techniques will be an advantage. Experience in conducting functional assessments and interpreting results for customized treatment plans. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
