A dynamic and growing national law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role supports a busy litigation practice and offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Candidates must be based in the Dallas area. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence. E-file documents in state and federal courts. Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and manage case dockets. Coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings. Open, organize, and maintain both electronic and physical files. Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel. Assist with time entry, expense reports, and billing tasks. Provide administrative support including scheduling, travel arrangements, and other duties as needed. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting. Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures. Proficiency in legal document formatting and electronic court filing. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with document management systems is a plus. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
