Procurement Manager

Procurement ManagerLocation: Raceland, LAPosition Overview: The Procurement Manager coordinates sourcing programs and serves as the lead for developing and implementing Executive Management approved procurement procedures and practices.Key Responsibilities:Prepares Requests for Proposal (RFP) for various commodities.Acts as liaison between purchasing agents and Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) vendors.Evaluates requests to add vendors to the Approved Vendor List (AVL).Solicits quotes/specifications for equipment and capital expenditures; submits recommendations to Executive Management.Coordinates standardization of consumable commodities.Adheres to company policies, including safety, environmental, and quality systems.Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by management.Works overtime as required.Maintains punctual daily attendance.QualificationsSeven (7) years of Procurement, Manufacturing or Fabrication Operational Supervisory experience required.Three (3)+ years of direct supervision required.Location: Raceland, LASkills and AbilitiesDeep knowledge of procurement operations and strategic sourcing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with others.Bollinger is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment opportunities to minorities, females, veterans and disabled individuals, and without regard to sexual orientation and gender identity.Benefits: 401k, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision
