Pricing Analyst

Wendover Art Group seeks a CNC Production Lead who is passionate about the art of signage and someone who wants to be a part of building the best art company in the world. A successful CNC Production Lead will embrace a growth mindset, driving high impact projects, support their team however possible and have the desire and ambition to learn leadership. The Signage Production Lead plays a pivotal role within the day‑to‑day operations of the Company and directly impacts the operational success of the business each day. The Signage Production Lead will work with the signage and print production team to ensure work orders are accurately prepared for production and when necessary, will resolve graphic, color, composition, and sizing discrepancies. The Signage Production Lead is also responsible for supporting daily, weekly, and monthly machine preventative maintenance on a fleet of digital printing technology to maintain and sustain uptime. The Signage Production Lead is the first line of defense for resolving minor technical issues or escalating issues which require OEM support. Critical to the entire Wendover operations platform, this Team Member works closely with all Wendover departments – but particularly Business Development, Graphic Design and Print Production. The Signage Production Lead will work closely with the Print Operations Team Lead, Director of Human Resources, Director of Manufacturing, and the CFO. To succeed in this environment, the Signage Production Lead must display the Core Values that form the foundation of Wendover’s success and embrace Wendover’s Winning Formula. CNC Production Lead: Key Responsibilities Evaluate cutting tools and machining processes. Develop material, tool, and tool path libraries. Drive improvements in our machining area, primarily ShopSabre and Multicam routers. Provide recommendations to reduce cost and improve manufacturability of products. Assist in development, writing and maintaining equipment and assembly procedures in the form of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Visual Aids. Troubleshoot machine failures. Work with maintenance staff and outside technicians to resolve equipment issues. Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, techniques and quality issues and develop corrective actions to maintain productivity and acceptance level. Generate labor estimates for quote requests and provide recommendations to reduce manufacturing costs. Perform time studies of equipment and processes to ensure product costs are accurate. Lead or co‑lead productivity projects via focusing on quality/cost/cycle time improvement measures. Ensuring image quality, running nozzle tests at the start of shift, correcting any print head dropout flaws and performing daily maintenance on the printer. Assuring all printer cabinets are kept clean and functional, maintaining general cleanliness of overall printer and surrounding area. Flawlessly and thoroughly handing off shift to your counterpart on incoming shift; bringing incoming Print Specialist & Service Technician up to speed on any issues that occurred during their shift. Providing input and/or assistance in formulating new policies and procedures related to printer maintenance. Create proofs and custom visual specification for client approval. Acting as level one support as issues arise; if issue cannot be resolved expeditiously, responsible to escalate to level two. Exhibiting strong knowledge in signage printer operation. Documenting shift activities related to signage printer performance. Basic device cleaning and replacement of operator accessible parts. Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service. Provide on‑going end user training on equipment. Ability and willingness to work up to 85% of time on the floor to help determine and correct issues, improve processes, and create or maintain successful programs. CNC Production Lead: Skills and Traits Necessary for Success 1‑3 years of experience of diagnosing, repairing, and supporting the overall general maintenance of signage print machinery experience. Ability to provide detailed technical feedback relevant to the status of the machine. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Mechanical, electrical, and printing knowledge and capabilities. General computer skills and knowledge of computer technology. High level of intellectual curiosity and continuous desire to learn and grow. Desire to take on high‑level of responsibility in regard to ownership of the processes and machines. Flexible availability for working hours (some weekends). CNC Production Lead: What Else Do We Look For? Experience troubleshooting electro‑mechanical equipment. Familiar with RIP software (Fiery XF, Caldera, Onyx, etc). Familiar with using multimeter, reading schematics, and interpreting technical manuals. Experience with high volume, signage print jobs. Art Consultant: Key Responsibilities Manage key relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and designers at national retail customers. Source art through multiple channels to build artwork programs. Manage artist relationships and license agreements with artists. Develop program artwork for national retail, independent retail, and high‑end design accounts. Employ use of studio arts to create and enhance pieces of art. Interpret and reinforce design concepts through artwork selection and graphic manipulation. Construct and present design and imagery presentations to client specifications. Create detailed artwork specifications of selected pieces and work with team throughout the pricing process. Represent Wendover Art Group at tradeshows, client meetings and industry events. Art Consultant: Skills and Traits Necessary for Success A track record of high achievement. Ability to develop art trend boards based on aesthetic objectives. Ability to provide and interpret art direction to achieve a desired aesthetic. Entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset with a passion for doing things right all the time. Strong time management skills and ability to work under multiple competing deadlines. Support the processing and project management of orders through cross‑functional communication with project management and operations teams. Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Excel capabilities. Scheduling & Planning IE: Key Responsibilities Reports to the Director of Manufacturing and works closely with Team Members to reach our goal. Provides Production with reliable and accurate production schedules daily. Actively manages and drives order availability to production lines from sub‑assembly departments. Has a full understanding of all reports created by the Scheduling and Planning Department – is able to create them and speak to all variances. Tracks, reports, and analyzes all KPI data for the production process. Monitors and reviews operations and works with Team members to resolve production issues. Analyzes workflows and finds ways to streamline processes to increase throughput. Recommends and implements procedures for improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory Management, and Productivity. Continually analyzes order pipeline for the assigned areas of the business and provides updates on a 5, 15, and 90‑day outlook. Understands our inventory processes. Management of High‑Focus projects in production to meet customer expectations. Partners with sales, creative, and project management teams to ensure timely implementation of strategic activities for new products or projects. Works on optimizing daily output (prioritizing oldest to newest). Understands WIP levels in each department and how they can be improved. Partners with the Supply Chain team to ensure proactive material planning. Understands and can address lead‑times for each product type made at Wendover in order to provide detailed insight into when orders will be available. Builds strong relationships with all departments. Scheduling & Planning IE: Desired Skills and Traits Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Logistics or related field. 2‑4 years of experience in Manufacturing or Production Scheduling role. Manufacturing process automation and preventive maintenance experience preferred. Proven project management and process improvement experience (Lean or Six Sigma is a plus). Experience with safety, quality, and production in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Excellent math and analytical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other data analytics programs. Proven ability and desire to lead. Collaborating with the Business Development, Art Consultants and Project Managers to develop imagery for client presentations and specifications. At the instruction of the Director of Creative, create new artwork for upcoming product releases. Ability to interpret and translate art direction from internal and external customers to produce the desired aesthetic accurately and efficiently. Appropriately prioritize projects to ensure that deadlines are consistently met. Accurately follow process to ensure items are pristinely filed and stored for future use and manipulation. Graphic Image and Color Manipulation. Manipulate color, imagery, composition, and sizing of existing products for custom requests. Having a critical eye for color and file quality. Assist with specs for creating the type of order that a customer wants. Develop relationships with customers and building accounts.
