Equipment Mechanic

Pay: $25/hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Location: Texarkana, AR

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic to join a growing company that provides mechanical repairs and installations for manufacturing plants. This position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, company vehicles, and shop equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, dependable, and comfortable working in industrial environments.

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and machinery

• Service company vehicles and trailers

• Maintain shop equipment (welders, compressors, tools, etc.)

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner

• Perform inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently

• Assist with equipment installations at customer manufacturing sites as needed

• Keep accurate maintenance records

• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Previous experience as an equipment or industrial mechanic preferred

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Experience working on heavy equipment and vehicles

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

• Comfortable working in shop and plant environments

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical job duties

• Valid driver’s license

• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

• $25/hour starting pay

• Steady Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends)

• Day shift: 7:00am–3:30pm
