Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Role ($140,000 to $170,000 base + bonus) Our client is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting. You'll own the accounting functions, lead a team of accounting professionals, and partner closely with leaders from other teams to keep financials accurate, controls strong, and decisions well-informed — all in compliance with GAAP. What You'll Do Oversee full cycle accounting for a high grossing division Manage AR for billing and collections (commissioned agent/management fee, DTW, rack-plus operators, and credit card processors) and ensure accuracy across AP, AR, and the GL Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close — including year-end audit — supervising journal entries and reconciling GL accounts Support recurring and ad hoc reporting on inventory and margins, and field operations/dealer questions on submitted financial information Support the annual budgeting process for gallons, margins, and costs Drive continuous improvement — automate manual processes, standardize procedures, and strengthen internal controls Manage, train, and develop the Accounting team and delegate to meet department and company goals What They're Looking For Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's in Accounting or CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of functional/operational accounting experience, including 3+ years supervising accounting/finance teams Experience in retail or oil/gas industries is a plus but not required Strong financial analysis, research, and technical accounting skills Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify employer; visa sponsorship and C2C not available) Schedule & Travel Hybrid — in office Tuesday–Thursday, work-from-home Monday & Friday (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM). #J-18808-Ljbffr
