Accounting Manager

Incumbent Accounting Manager. Transdev is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, including payroll, accounting processes, and compliance. This role partners closely with the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient payroll administration, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. This position is based in Baltimore, MD. Compensation Competitive compensation package: minimum $90,000 – maximum $101,000 Benefits Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Key Responsibilities Process new employee files & records and submit them to the General Manager for approval; submit appropriate paperwork to the regional accounting office. Calculate & input driver & staff payroll into system for processing. Track attendance for part-time employees. Responsible for fare reconciliation & deposits. Assist General Manager in accurately tracking overtime to reduce and eliminate unnecessary or additional punch hours. Other duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Computer literacy: 10-key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
