Experience:

Experience in a production support or similar operational role is highly preferred.

Experience following runbooks and handling operational tasks like monitoring dashboards and escalating issues is expected.

Key Responsibilities

24/7 production support: provide on-call support for critical applications, including weekends and holidays, as part of a follow-the-sun model with an existing team in India.

Independent operation: act as the sole representative of the team during shifts, making decisions and responding to incidents independently.

Compliance and process adherence: enforce proper documentation and justification for all requests, pushing back on non-compliant asks that come through informal channels like Teams or email.

Incident and change management: handle day-to-day operational tasks, including monitoring queues, managing incidents and change requests, and performing deployments.

Process improvement and automation: proactively identify recurring issues, analyze root causes, and drive improvements to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention. The goal is to evolve the role by automating L1-type tasks.

Customer engagement: meet with application owners to discuss recurring problems and advocate for bug fixes and stability improvements over new feature development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69.25 – $69.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
