You’ll provide essential speech-language services to students at a high school, collaborating with the existing team and offering both consultative and direct support. The position spans three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with roughly 20 hours per week, adapting as needed to ensure all services are provided effectively.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Background in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education collaboration
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to approximately 46 high school students
• Maintain thorough documentation and IEP compliance
• Complete student assessments, progress tracking, and goal updates
• Work closely with teachers and special education staff
• Transition smoothly by shadowing current SLP 1–2 weeks prior to official start
• Participate in meetings as needed and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders

• Client prefers in-person interviews but will accommodate virtual options if necessary
• Must provide professional references by the time of interview
• No teletherapy (NO VOCO); all services are provided in-person
