Step into a rewarding role supporting students through a part-time assignment focusing on speech-language services. This contract opportunity is designed for a qualified SLP to cover a maternity leave at a high school, working with an engaged caseload and collaborating with a supportive educational team. The position is structured at approximately 20 hours per week, spread across Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. For a smooth transition, candidates are welcome to begin 1-2 weeks prior to the official start date to shadow the current SLP.

Key Qualifications:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working within a school setting with students aged 14-18
• Proficiency in both consultative and direct service delivery models
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services (consult and direct) to approximately 46 high school students
• Maintain thorough documentation adhering to school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
• Support students’ academic and social development through speech and language interventions
• Complete responsibilities within the designated workdays while ensuring compliance and quality standards

Additional Details:

• Candidate will have an opportunity to shadow the onsite SLP for up to two weeks prior to the official start of the maternity leave assignment
• In-person interviews are preferred, with virtual options available upon request
• References will be required prior to any offer
• There is no telepractice (NO VOCO) for this role
