Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist on a part-time basis. This role involves covering a maternity leave at a high school, working three days per week within a welcoming and collaborative educational environment. You’ll have the chance to shadow the current SLP for one to two weeks before the official start, ensuring a smooth transition for you and the students.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Strong ability to manage a caseload and balance consultative and direct therapy hours
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ready references to provide during the interview process
• Comfortable interviewing either in-person or virtually

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 46 high school students
• Provide both direct therapy (approximately 750 hours) and consultation services (approximately 1,085 hours)
• Collaborate closely with educational staff, families, and other service providers to support student success
• Accurately maintain documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and district standards
• Adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs and support their IEP goals

This contract assignment features a flexible part-time schedule of Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays—totalling roughly 20 hours per week, with a slight variation based on workload. The anticipated start is October 4th, 2026, with the opportunity to begin shadowing earlier, and the assignment concludes December 23rd, 2026.
