Phlebotomist Float (Eastern Suffolk County)

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float for Eastern Suffolk County, rotating among multiple clinic locations. The role involves blood collection via venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen processing, patient data entry, and customer service, with a flexible Monday–Friday schedule plus alternating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar assays
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen information logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as needed
- Travel between multiple clinic sites as scheduled
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months phlebotomy experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in exceptional customer service
