Job Duties

• Tailor Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create specialized therapy strategies to help them reach their personal functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive functions, and ability to navigate daily tasks
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and integrated patient care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers about therapy practices that support ongoing development and success at home
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Maintain detailed records of clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans accordingly to ensure patients are effectively progressing

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
• Commitment to ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is supported and encouraged

Licenses

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) registration
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
