Key responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician include:

• Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures such as CABG, Thoracotomy, Endo AAA, Valve Replacement, and Pacemaker insertions
• Ensure all necessary equipment is prepared and functional
• Maintain sterile environments throughout surgical procedures

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician include:

• ACLS & BLS certifications
• CVOR experience
• Scrubbing experience preferred
