The Restaurant General Manager oversees all local daily operations of the restaurant, directly managing staff and ensuring outstanding customer service. Reporting to regional management, this role requires a hands-on leader who excels in staff supervision, inventory control, budgeting, and scheduling. The General Manager also supports staff training and development while maintaining health and safety standards and occasionally traveling for training or meetings. Responsibilities

• Manage all restaurant staff directly to ensure efficient operations
• Oversee customer service standards to maintain guest satisfaction
• Control inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
• Manage budgeting and financial oversight for restaurant operations
• Coordinate scheduling to meet staffing needs and labor cost targets
• Lead training and development initiatives for restaurant employees

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant management
• Associate degree in Business or related field
• Strong team leadership and staff training skills
• Customer service expertise with conflict resolution abilities
• Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting
• Experience with scheduling and health and safety compliance
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Excellent communication skills
