Pain Management Physician - El Centro, CA
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management and related medical fields, providing comprehensive care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring that each individual receives tailored treatment plans that enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with pain-related conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in neurology, pathology, and trauma medicine, to provide holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in infection control measures to ensure a safe treatment environment.
Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pain Management or related specialty is preferred.
- Experience in senior care settings or hospitals is advantageous.
- Familiarity with various pain management techniques and therapies.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of pain management.
Qualifications:
- Post-residency experience.
- Family Medicine.
- Medical License.
- DEA License.
- BC/BE Family Medicine or BC/BE Internal Medicine.
