Our mission is to prepare students for academic success and bilingualism while fostering cultural awareness, equity, and a strong sense of community.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The Occupational Therapist will support students in developing the skills necessary for participation in school activities, with a focus on fine motor development, sensory integration, and functional independence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPsConduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansCollaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providersSupport classroom staff with strategies to meet students' sensory and motor needsMaintain accurate documentation and progress monitoringParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal developmentCommunicate effectively with families and school staffAttend MTSS meetings as neededQualificationsMaster's degree or OTD in Occupational TherapyCurrent Rhode Island Occupational Therapy licenseNBCOT certification requiredExperience working in a school setting preferredStrong understanding of sensory integration and school-based interventionsAbility to collaborate and work effectively within a teamSchedulePart-time: 3 days per week (schedule to be determined)What We OfferCollaborative and supportive school communityOpportunity to work in a diverse, bilingual settingFlexible schedulingCompetitive rate
