Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will enjoy a flexible work schedule with the ability to choose your hours from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their conditions and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, document treatments, and adjust therapeutic goals and plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies, exercise techniques, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners, providing training and guidance on appropriate physical therapy practices and interdisciplinary patient care approaches.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy through ongoing professional development, including attending workshops, reading relevant literature, and engaging in peer networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clientele, all facing various orthopedic challenges, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in navigating these patients through their rehabilitation journeys, providing both emotional and physical support to empower them in achieving their health goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documenting treatment plans and patient progress.
• Ability to adapt to varied patient needs, demonstrating flexibility and agility in treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic setting is highly desired but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
