Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, establishing baseline functional capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to reduce pain and promote recovery.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize clinical outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation strategies, assistive devices, and self-management techniques.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy by participating in continuing education opportunities, workshops, and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be treating patients with orthopedic injuries or conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, arthritis, fracture rehabilitation, and general musculoskeletal pain. You will work with a diverse patient demographic ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, adapting treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a rehabilitation setting or familiarity with aquatic therapy, dry needling, or orthopedic-specific modalities is a plus. Candidates with prior mentorship experience or those who have successfully implemented evidence-based programs will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
