Job Title: Tax Accountant (Entry-Level)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for an entry-level candidate with a Bachelor's degree who is looking to start or grow a career in tax accounting. The Tax Accountant will assist with tax preparation, compliance, and related accounting tasks while working closely with senior team members.

Compensation & Work Arrangement:

Salary: $50,000-$58,000 per year
Work Type: Fully remote

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and assist with federal, state, and local tax returns
Gather, review, and organize financial and tax-related documents
Assist with tax planning and compliance activities
Research basic tax issues and tax regulations
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding tax information
Support senior accountants with audits and special projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Entry-level candidates welcome; prior tax or accounting experience is a plus
Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; accounting software experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred (Not Required):

Internship or coursework related to tax accounting
Interest in pursuing CPA or other accounting certifications
