Junior AccountantPlease note that this job is HYBRID. You will be required to work onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You may work from home the rest of the week using company-provided equipment.LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading retail company to fill their open Junior Accountant job in Centennial, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last at least 3 months. Depending on your performance and our client's staffing needs, this role may get extended and/or be converted to a permanent position in the company. You will earn between $28.00 and $33.00 per hour in this role. You will also be eligible to sign up for LHH's benefits programs (details below).Responsibilities:Assisting with processing AP and ARCommunicating with customers: sending payment reminders, following up on collectionsReconciling bank accountsPreparing sales tax returnsAssisting with month end close processesAll other related tasks as requiredQualifications:At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar roleBachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a similar role preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical skillsExcellent organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft ExcelProficiency with AS400 or similar accounting software preferredCompensation:Hourly rate between $28.00 and $33.00LHH benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
