We are currently seeking a OpenText Customer Sales Order Management Consultant / Lead Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Customer Sales Order Management Consultant to lead and deliver end-to-end OpenText Order Management implementations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Customer Order Processing, Sales Order Automation, EDI Integrations, SAP ERP/S4HANA integration, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, go-live support, and post-production support.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, sales operations teams, customer service teams, logistics teams, and technical teams to implement and optimize OpenText Order Management solutions that improve order processing efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand current order management processes.
• Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Analyze existing order-to-cash (O2C) processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Perform gap analysis and provide solution recommendations.
• Prepare business process documents, BRDs, FRDs, and solution design documents.
• Collaborate with business users to define future-state processes.

Solution Design

• Design OpenText Customer Order Management solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Define order intake, order validation, order routing, and exception handling processes.
• Design integrations between OpenText and S4HANA systems.
• Prepare functional and technical design documentation.
• Define EDI transaction processing requirements and mapping specifications.

Configuration & Implementation

• Configure OpenText Customer Order Management platform.
• Implement customer sales order automation solutions.
• Configure order capture, validation, enrichment, and workflow processing.
• Configure trading partner onboarding and customer-specific order requirements.
• Support EDI integrations for various transaction sets.
• Coordinate with technical teams for interfaces, APIs, and middleware integrations.
• Participate in OpenText upgrades and enhancement projects.

SAP Integration

• Integrate OpenText solutions with SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).
• Work extensively with:
• Sales Orders
• Customer Master
• Material Master
• Pricing
• Delivery Processing
• Billing
• Returns Management
• Support IDoc processing and troubleshooting.
• Work with SAP functional teams to resolve cross-functional issues.

Testing Activities

• Prepare test strategies and test scenarios.
• Develop functional test cases.
• Execute SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Validate end-to-end order processing scenarios.
• Support defect resolution and retesting.
• Coordinate with business users during UAT cycles.

Deployment & Go-Live

• Prepare deployment and cutover plans.
• Support production migration activities.
• Execute go-live readiness assessments.
• Coordinate with multiple teams during deployment.
• Manage production issue resolution during go-live.

Hypercare & Post Go-Live Support

• Provide hyper care support after production deployment.
• Monitor order processing transactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend permanent fixes.
• Support SLA-based incident and problem management processes.
• Prepare knowledge transfer and support documentation.
• Coordinate with business and support teams for continuous improvement initiatives.

• Multiple full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong customer-facing consulting experience.
