We also offer parent training, recreational activities and crisis intervention.Vision Statement:To be a regional leader in advancing opportunities for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities through innovative instruction and supports grounded in applied behavior analysis and person-centered practices.Mission Statement:Advancing opportunities for people with autism and other developmental disabilities through person-centered, evidence-based practices that strengthen skills, promote autonomy, and support meaningful participation in their communities.Qualifications:High School DiplomaExperience in the area of facility sanitation and minor maintenance repairsAbility in new construction as well as building repair/maintenanceValid NYS Drivers LicenseAccountabilityAccountable to the Coordinator of the Facilities Maintenance DepartmentResponsibilitiesPaint as needed, drywallMaintain log on company vehicle used for off-site work (mileage)Safe and proper use of all Agency tools and equipmentSubmit all bills and paperwork for material purchases to supervisorBasic repair in plumbing, carpentry, electrical and roof work as well as floor and wall tile ceramic and vinyl.Clean as neededGeneral Responsibilities:Snow removal as neededMaintain campus, group homes, Day Hab and Annex buildingsAccess any safety issuesFollow instruction of supervisorWork as part of a team to help repair, maintain a safe and clean environment for students/consumersAssumes other responsibilities as assigned.Physical ResponsibilitiesSitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during work hoursMust be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the positionMust possess sight and hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully metMust function independently, have personal integrity, be flexible and able to work effectively with other personnelMust be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stabilityWork Location: In person#ZR
