Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy to provide services to school-aged children in the Rockville, MD area. This contract position spans the academic year from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with an estimated workload of 35 hours per week, typically distributed over three full days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services remotely within a virtual school-based setting.
- Manage caseloads varying by age group: up to 40 students in elementary school, around 48 in middle school, and a peak caseload reaching 57 students.
- Collaborate with supervisors to tailor assignments based on individual skillsets and geographical location.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all credentialing and background check requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Active Maryland Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- A minimum of three years of virtual school-based experience post-COVID, with at least two of those years within the past five years.
- Availability during Eastern Standard Time hours.
- Completion of a technology screening and internal interviews to assess suitability.
- Ability to provide references and current license documentation.
