Senior Station Manager

Job ID: 10387949 | Amazon.com Services LLC Responsibilities Manage all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for an Amazon Logistics Delivery Station. Lead and coach Operations, Area and Shift Managers to ensure performance objectives are met. Oversee overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations. Drive vision for the station team and create quality, process change, and lean initiatives to help the DS meet and exceed its business plan. Identify and solve gaps between performance and goals. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Managers, measure performance, provide feedback, and hold them accountable. Operate the delivery station on a 24/7 basis under rising volume and complexity. Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). Present operational metrics regularly to senior leadership. Hire and develop top talent with a comprehensive talent plan covering acquisition, performance, career management, learning, succession planning and engagement. Leverage Managers to source and nurture ideas, integrating them into improvement plans. Cultivate a strong culture and engagement throughout all levels of the station team. Share best practices across departments, shifts and the network. Collaborate with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience. 7+ years of direct management experience in a logistics, fulfillment, last‑mile, manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment. Track record of delivering performance and financial results in high‑pressure environments. Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques. Experience with full‑lifecycle staffing, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations. Strong analytical capability; proven ability to analyze data and solve operational problems. Excellent communication skills in local language and English, both written and verbal. Experience managing third‑party resources regionally or nationally. Experience managing contingent workforce during peak seasons. Flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field; MBA preferred. Experience in a startup environment. Ability to handle changing priorities and exercise good judgment in stressful situations. Interest in long‑term career development. The base salary range for this position is $135,000.00 – $182,700.00 USD annually. The total compensation package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), and may also include benefits such as health, dental, vision, and various insurance plans, 401(k) matching, paid time off and parental leave.
