About the Position

Job Title: Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Proficiency with EPIC IV Start Telemetry Ventilator management experience Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. Positions include neuro ICU, surgical ICUs, medical ICUs, cardiology, diagnostics, and more. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. The role involves managing patients in critical situations with high-level care. Emergency medications and advanced procedures are part of the responsibilities. Experience in managing ventilated patients and telemetry is essential. Candidates should demonstrate skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases. This position requires active participation in an interdisciplinary team that includes various services. Overall, this role demands a high level of adaptability and clinical skill in critical care settings.
