Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, ensure equipment readiness, anticipate procedural needs, and support the operative team to promote patient safety and efficient workflow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience scrubbing a wide range of procedures, including specialty surgeries such as sports medicine and trauma.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and air-powered surgical equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Ability to prepare and maintain a sterile field and inspect sterile items for contamination.
• Ability to assist with operative documentation and tracking of surgical supplies and hardware used during procedures.
• Willingness to work varied 12-hour day/evening shifts in a hospital setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience scrubbing specialty cases without a sales representative present.
• Prior experience in a trauma-capable hospital.
• Additional certifications related to perioperative care.
