The company has raised over $250M from leading institutional investors, such as Redbird, Tarsadia, Mayfair, StepStone, and Edison Partners.About the RoleWillow Wealth is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join the Athens team responsible for the accounting and finance functions of the Willow Wealth Funds. The role will be based in our Services Hub in Athens, Greece and will report to the Senior Fund Controller in New York, US. This role is for someone who has experience in accounting and financial reporting, with the ability to apply relevant investment company accounting rules.Key ResponsibilitiesReview monthly / quarterly / annual reporting packages prepared by the external fund administrator, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP across individual offeringsReview and ensure accuracy and consistency of audited financial statements, including footnotes and supporting disclosures across over 100 fundsReview operating and debt agreements to ensure that fees and interest are recorded appropriatelyDraft fund financial statements including footnote disclosuresOversee the external fund administrator's daily and monthly transaction activity, reviewing for accuracy and completeness. Provide guidance and clarifications on the nature of the transactions and how they should be recordedPerform detailed reviews and reconciliations of management fee calculations, expense allocations, and intercompany transactionsProactively identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and inefficiencies; drive improvements and implement scalable solutionsDocument key processes, internal controls, workflows and implement changes to align with best industry practices across daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting and operational activitiesBuild strong cross-functional relationships across Finance, Operations, Investments, Legal, Compliance, Tax, auditors, and external service providersTake ownership of assigned deliverables while contributing to broader accounting and operational initiativesSupport year-end tax processes, including coordination of Forms 1099 and K-1Respond to investor inquiries and prepare ad hoc analyses and reporting as neededWork with the external auditors and ensure that support is provided timelyQualifications7–10 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or investment managementBig Four background preferred, with US GAAP experience a strong plusBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
