Employee Relations Specialist

Providing expert consultation and technical guidance, the full-time Employee Relations Specialist will manage complex employee relations cases for federal supervisors and managers, focusing on disciplinary actions, performance management, and grievance administration in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Conduct consultations with supervisors to define issues and recommend appropriate action paths Analyze evidence and draft disciplinary letters while ensuring procedural compliance and documentation integrity Administer grievance procedures and assist management with performance plan development and attendance issues Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in federal employee relations, including disciplinary actions and performance management Proficiency in interpreting and applying 5 CFR 752 and 5 CFR 432 regulations Experience in developing employee relations correspondence for legal review Strong understanding of grievance procedures and performance improvement plans Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including Labor Relations and EEO programs
