We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grocery / E-Commerce Manager to lead our grocery department while overseeing our growing online shopping and fulfillment operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day grocery department functions, driving sales, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring exceptional customer service, and coordinating all e-commerce activities including online order fulfillment, curbside pickup, and delivery operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and passionate about creating a positive shopping experience for both in-store and online guests. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Grocery Department and E-Commerce fulfillment team.
• Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop department team members.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained both in-store and online.
• Oversee online order fulfillment, curbside pickup, and delivery processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor order completion times and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and coordinate product ordering with vendors and suppliers.
• Analyze sales trends, online order volume, and department performance to maximize profitability.
• Ensure product availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
• Maintain attractive, fully stocked, and organized grocery displays.
• Verify pricing accuracy throughout the department and online ordering platforms.
• Ensure promotions, sale pricing, and digital offers are correctly implemented and maintained.
• Monitor department shrink and take corrective action to improve results.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with store leadership and other departments to support store-wide goals.
• Assist with budgeting, labor management, and expense control.

Qualifications

• Previous grocery retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with online grocery fulfillment, e-commerce, curbside pickup, or delivery operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to analyze reports and make business-driven decisions.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with inventory management and retail technology systems.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
