This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Associate, Production Management (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for assisting with production activities, developing schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring a safe work environment. Specifics Include: Assist with production activities, including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, to meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions Lead and/or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement Ensure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent Follow established procedures with limited decision-making authority, contributing to efficient business operations through accurate task completion Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization
