Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design specialized therapy strategies to assist them in achieving their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Use evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and families on therapeutic techniques to promote continued progress at home.
• Monitor Progress: Document clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licensure and Certification

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
