Role Overview The Mobile Crisis Peer Support Specialist will work as part of the Emergency Services team. You will draw from your own experiences to engage individuals in crisis, assist individuals with engaging in services and supports, and help develop individualized recovery plans. You will play a critical advocacy role and may be required to provide transportation as well as promote self‑care, illness‑self‑management, wellness and recovery. What We’re Looking For Lived experience of mental illness & recovery, or certification as a Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) Experience working in a community mental health center, or as a peer specialist, and/or within a substance misuse treatment center is highly recommended Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability coverage Benefits Competitive wages Paid time off and holidays Health, dental and vision insurance FSA accounts Tuition reimbursement Life and long‑term disability insurance 403(b) retirement plan Requirements As local travel is a requirement of this position, candidates must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of adequate vehicle liability coverage, and reliable transportation.
