Senior NGS Sales Specialist

Senior NGS Sales Specialist role focused on driving revenue through sales of next-generation sequencing instruments and solutions. Build and manage customer relationships across research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial sectors while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized scientific solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage key customer relationships across diverse research, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets
• Identify sales opportunities and create customized solutions aligned with customer needs
• Execute strategic sales plans and manage complex, multi-stage sales cycles for large equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences and outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of sales experience with scientific instruments or analytical equipment
• Strong technical understanding of NGS instrumentation, applications, and competitor products
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex capital equipment deals
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with ability to travel up to 50%
• Experience with public and private sector procurement processes and strategic account management

Compensation: $96,400–$140,001 base
