Consultant - FP&A

Serve as a business partner to finance clients and provide strategic insights Contribute to pricing decisions and initiatives for new products and services Develop business case scenarios for new business growth opportunities Prepare final financial plans, forecasts, reporting, and analysis for business clients Develop the Business Plan, Commitment View, and Best View, including analysis, distribution, and recommendations for management reviews Prepare monthly analyses of business trends, budget variance, financial results, and KPIs Analyze business performance and recommend action plans, including gap closures and cost‑management considerations Define data requirements and sources for planning, forecasting, and reporting processes Conduct strategic business analysis with overlays and commentary Create performance reports with business insights, ad hoc analysis, and recommendations for executive management Identify scenarios, risks, and opportunities related to business performance Develop and analyze economic drivers Model and assess performance scenarios to analyze risks and opportunities Communicate with business partners clearly and concisely Requirements Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including knowledge of Excel Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is an even-better qualification Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry is an even-better qualification Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is an even-better qualificationUnderstanding of corporate financial planning, reporting and analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes is an even-better qualification Knowledge of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis is an even-better qualification Familiarity with General Ledger preparation, FASB requirements, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is an even-better qualification Proficiency in Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Strategic Finance is an even-better qualification Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work under the hybrid arrangement, including a minimum of three days per week in the office Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, with a strong focus on developing business cases and performance reports. Proficient in utilizing financial modeling and analysis tools to provide strategic insights and recommendations for business growth.
