Job Title: Shipping Associate Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Shipping Associate where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of warehouse activities. You will be responsible for receiving goods, managing documentation, and conducting physical receipts. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle various tasks related to shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.

• Receive goods, manage documentation, and conduct physical receipt.

• Manage Excel spreadsheets and learn the ERP system.

• Perform daily cycle counts.

• Print product labels and manage shipping and receiving processes.

• Handle heavy lifting as required.

• Check SKUs and lot numbers for accuracy.

• Assist in all areas of the warehouse.

• Load and unload trucks.

Essential Skills

• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely.

• Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn ERP systems.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, warehouse operations, cleaning, janitorial duties, and food manufacturing.

• Skills in sanitation, sanitizing, and housekeeping are beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of City of Industry, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
