Marketing Director

Role Description The Marketing Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in Charleston, SC, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position leads the development and execution of the company's marketing strategy, including brand positioning, campaign planning, and go-to-market initiatives for company sales. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing market planning, managing marketing programs and budgets, guiding market research and competitive analysis, and aligning marketing activities with sales objectives. Working alongside your team to create and post on social media platforms. The Marketing Director will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and leadership to create integrated marketing campaigns, develop content and collateral, and manage digital channels to drive demand and strengthen market presence. This role also involves tracking performance metrics, optimizing initiatives based on data, and mentoring team members or external partners to ensure consistent, high-quality marketing output. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Market Planning and Marketing Management, including developing and executing strategic marketing plans. Experience in social media content creation and web design is a plus. Experience in Market Research and Marketing, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Background in Sales collaboration, with skills in aligning marketing initiatives to revenue, pipeline, and account-based strategies. Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within technology, AEC, real estate, or related industries. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM/marketing automation systems. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
