We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our production team in managing orders from placement through delivery. Position Overview The Production Coordinator will support the day-to-day execution of production activities, working closely with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams to track orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth communication between factories, logistics, and internal stakeholders. This is a detail-driven, execution-focused role ideal for someone looking to grow their career in apparel production management. Key Responsibilities Order Tracking & Administration Enter, update, and track purchase orders through all stages of production Maintain accurate and up-to-date production status reports and WIP trackers Monitor order timelines and flag potential delays to the Production Manager Assist in maintaining production calendars across multiple factory partners Communicate with overseas factories to confirm order details, timelines, and shipping schedules Follow up on outstanding production updates, sample approvals, and documentation Support resolution of day-to-day production issues under guidance from the Production Manager Quality & Documentation Assist in coordinating quality control checkpoints and inspections Maintain organized records of POs, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents Help track and document quality issues or discrepancies for review Logistics Support Coordinate with logistics team on shipment bookings, container tracking, and delivery timelines Assist in reconciling shipping and production data against purchase orders and invoices Help identify and elevate past-due or at-risk shipments Cross-Functional Support Support sales, merchandising, and logistics teams with production status updates Assist in preparing weekly/monthly production and shipping reports Provide general administrative and data support to the production team Requirements Experience & Education 2–4 years of experience in production, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably in apparel or fashion Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) Prior experience working with overseas factories or import/export processes a plus Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred) Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems (e.g., QuickBooks, WMS platforms) a plus Basic understanding of costing terms such as FOB, LDP, and DDP a plus Core Competencies Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation Clear written and verbal communication skills Proactive, dependable, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to learn and take direction from senior production staff Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr YJM Apparel Group Inc
