What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on inmate records and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic counseling tailored to inmate needs
• Document evaluations and treatment activities accurately in healthcare records
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
• Support inmates' mental health needs through evidence-based interventions

What You Need

• Valid licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) per state regulations
• Experience in mental health assessment and intervention
• Ability to perform crisis interventions effectively
• US Citizenship (required for ICE clearance)
• Ability to pass thorough background, credit investigation, and fingerprinting

• Prior experience working in correctional or institutional settings
• Knowledge of mental health treatment protocols for diverse populations
