What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments with inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans
• Document treatment activities accurately in health records
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral counseling
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Follow facility protocols and legal guidelines

What You Need
Required:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Fingerprinting completed
• Ability to obtain ICE clearance (may require 45+ days; candidates with existing clearance can start sooner)
• Experience in mental health counseling or a related field

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in correctional or institutional settings
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention techniques

About the Assignment
As a Mental Health Therapist at this facility, you will play a vital role in delivering mental health services within the correctional system. You'll assess inmates' mental health needs, provide counseling and crisis intervention, and develop treatment plans to support their well-being. The position offers a full-time schedule with a focus on daytime hours, working at a leading correctional facility focused on inmate health and safety.
