This is a highly visible and hands-on role, responsible for owning financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner closely with leadership across Eight Sleep to shape strategy and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.Location: SF What You’ll Be Doing:Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysisBuild and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic planning, new initiatives, and investment casesPartner with functional leads to define and track KPIs and operational metrics that drive business performanceDevelop ROI analyses for new product features, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional investmentsCreate financial presentations and business review materials for executive leadership and the BoardLead preparation of monthly operating reviews and performance commentarySupport ad hoc business analysis and special projects as neededWhat We’re Looking For:A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.At least 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance. MBA is a plusStrong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.Deep understanding of financial statements, forecasting techniques, and Hardware/SaaS/internet business modelsExceptional communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersAnalytical mindset with strong business acumen, you’re comfortable interpreting the “why” behind the numbersAdvanced knowledge of the 3 statements and accounting conceptsThe ability to work independently while communicating with team members.Compensation:Salary range: $130,000 – $170,000, depending on experience and qualifications.You’ll report to our VP of Finance and work closely with our finance + accounting team as well as department leadersWhy join Eight Sleep?Innovation in a culture of excellenceJoin us in a workplace where innovation isn’t just encouraged - it’s a standard.
