About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate or VP for Financial Planning and Analysis to lead strategic finance efforts within its insurance platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with executive leadership to drive profitability and growth initiatives in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. This role involves supporting investment and corporate decisions through advanced financial modeling, developing long-range financial plans, and evaluating strategic initiatives such as M&A and new product launches. The role also includes the development of dashboards and KPIs to track key performance metrics, as well as contributing to firm-wide strategic finance projects and enterprise forecasts. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred, and 3-8 years' of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate strategy. A strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance economics, expertise in financial modeling, and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations. The role requires a commitment to excellence, teamwork, and integrity, and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic alternative investment firm with significant growth prospects.
