As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll work directly with a caseload of 18 PreK-5th grade students, making a positive daily impact. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule with school hours, and be part of a close-knit team dedicated to helping young learners thrive through June 11th.
Key Qualifications:
- Active NM OT license and NMPED license required
- Experience in school-based, home health, or other OT healthcare settings
- Passion for working with elementary-age children, especially in PreK-5th grade
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
- Previous experience working in a charter school environment is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to a small caseload of 18 students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff to support student success
- Develop and implement IEP goals and progress reports for assigned students
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Deliver all services onsite, ensuring hands-on, consistent support for each child
