Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a fulfilling contract position supporting a small charter school serving PreK–5th grade students near Albuquerque, NM. This part-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with an intimate caseload of just 18 students, collaborating closely with educators and families in a supportive school environment.

Your workweek will be Monday through Thursday, giving you the chance to enjoy three-day weekends and maintain a healthy work-life balance. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 11th.

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy (OT) license
• NMPED (New Mexico Public Education Department) license required
• Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable providing therapy to PreK–5th grade students
• Committed to working onsite throughout the assignment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 18 students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals in school settings
• Document services and maintain records adhering to school, district, and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Support students’ access to their learning environment, fostering growth and independence
