Registered Nurse II - Cardiac Surgery - Full-Time

Position Overview: Provides patient care in a Level 1 STEMI and Trauma Center's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) by utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. Coordinates with the surgical team and other departments to ensure high-quality care while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties in alignment with mission, values, and service standards. Responsibilities Include Collaborating with surgical teams for vascular, cardiothoracic, and minimally invasive procedures Participating in nursing orientation for circulating and scrub roles Supporting patient safety and confidentiality Providing compassionate, professional patient care Qualifications And Skills Minimum of 6 months RN experience or equivalent Current RN license in Missouri Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program BLS certification required Key Attributes: Compassion, professionalism, collaboration, advocacy, and a positive outlook.
