Senior Pastor

First Baptist Church of Bloomfield, NM is seeking a senior or lead pastor to shepherd a vibrant congregation of approximately 400 Sunday attendees. Responsibilities will include preaching, pastoral care, staff leadership, and outreach in alignment with the church’s mission statement: "Gathering in worship to our King, growing each other through the Word, serving others with our lives, and sharing the Gospel with those we meet every day." Lead a multi‑level staff and groups of volunteers. Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to congregants. Develop and oversee worship services, Bible studies, and outreach initiatives. Collaborate with church leadership to ensure mission‑driven ministry. Qualifications: Pastoral experience as a senior pastor or senior staff member at a church of comparable size and diversity is preferred. Master’s degree or doctoral degree related to ministry is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead staff and volunteer teams.
