Job Description

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through analysis of imaging results and lab findings
• Collaborate with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance by preparing the surgical environment and ensuring accurate patient positioning while passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge processes, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a significant surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant
